GLAAS INC collaborates with industry to deliver events that inform, educate and often provide important information to participants such as current OH&S matters; new techniques, materials and equipment; and general interest events for all.
These industry links are important for the Melbourne Polytechnic students to ensure the growth and development of a strong, educated and informed industry sector into the future.
Project Collaboration
GLAAS INC can facilitate effective collaboration between design and construction professionals and glass makers, designers and artists for the purpose of small to large scale public and private glass installations.
The potential to use designed glass is growing in Australia, and GLAAS INC is uniquely placed to assist in the development of this part of the sector.
Designed glass can be used in so many ways and is attractive, practical and can be made safe and compliant for most applications.

Heritage
GLAAS INC can provide conservation reports for heritage glass.
A team of heritage glass experts and historians, led by Dr Bronwyn Hughes OAM of Hughes Hughes Associates is available to inspect glass installations that may be in need of conservation, repair or re-location; and recommend conservators and makers who are trained for this work.
