The purposes of Glaas Inc are:

• To promote and develop the use of glass in art and architecture in Australia; 

• To ensure the traditional skills endure to enable conservation of the rich heritage of glass in Australia;

• To develop the potential of glass for the future, particularly as a contemporary architectural element; and

• To support glass industry, education, artists, makers and students.
