GLAAS INC is excited to offer the opportunity to First Nations artists to use glass to express their creativity and bring their unique cultural influences to glass art works.

 

Under this Program, free workshops are offered in various glass techniques including leadlighting, copperfoiling, kilnformed glass and glass jewellery.​ All materials and use of equipment is provided.

Participants are invited to register their interest and attend any workshops they wish to. Classes are usually taught by First Nations glass artists such as Rickie Martin and Shea Oberleuter.

Each year GLAAS INC holds a NAIDOC Week exhibition which includes work produced in the workshops.
