ABOUT GLAAS INC

GLAAS INC is a national NFP arts organisation with charitable status. GLAAS INC supports glass artists, designers, makers and students by creating collaborative opportunities, events and exhibitions; education and training; promotion and information; and advocacy for the sector.

GLAAS INC nurtures the next generation of glass innovators in partnership with Melbourne Polytechnic in Prahran, and through the management of the Australian Centre for Glass Design.

 

Provides resources and direction for glass in these areas:

• Training, Employment and Industry

• Creative/Visual Arts

 

Creating collaborative and consultative opportunities for industry, artists and others to lead Australian glass designers to match current world best practice and beyond into the future; and to develop the potential of glass to be utilised more fully in the spaces we inhabit.
