Copperfoil Workshops

Copperfoil is the art of creating glass works by using glass cut into shapes from a pattern. The edge of the glass is covered by copperfoil, and then soldered together. In this workshop all materials, equipment, safety wear and patterns will be provided and you will make a copperfoiled glass work to keep.

Leadlight Workshops

Leadlight is the art of cutting glass to a pattern, leading together and soldering the lead joins - and much more! Although often perceived as a period style form of decoration, leadlight translates into contemporary designs and installations just as easily.

Materials, tools and designs provided - you will make a panel to take home.

Stained Glass Painting Workshops

Traditional stained glass painting is in some ways similar to painting on canvas and in other ways it is vastly different. In this introduction to stained glass all materials, equipment, safety wear and patterns will be provided and you will be able to make a small stained glass work to keep.

Kilnforming Workshops

The potential to make art and objects utilising kiln forming is vast. In this workshop Fay Robertshawe introduces the concept of fusing coloured glass in the kiln. Participants have the opportunity to create a flat tile, wall hanging or coaster to keep - it will be fired and available to collect later. All materials, equipment and safety wear provided.

New courses taught by glass artist Fay Robertshawe. Class is from 6 - 9pm, and all materials, equipment, safety wear and patterns will be provided and you will make copperfoiled glass pieces to keep. 

Copperfoil is the art of creating glass works by using glass cut into shapes from a pattern. The edge of the glass is covered by copperfoil, and then soldered together. The length of the course allows you to learn the process and explore the possibilities of copperfoiling with glass, and design your own patterns as you progress.

Small class sizes so get in quickly and book yourself in.

Exciting new night leadlight courses taught by Jordan Benson (Instagram @jordanb_art). Jordan will teach 2 x 5 week courses on Wednesday and Thursday nights (6 - 9pm) .

All materials and use of tools and equipment is provided, also patterns - if you have a design in mind bring it along and Jordan will help with developing your glass design vision.
